Pork Ribs and Dry Rub

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your grill for indirect cooking. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim excess fat.

2

Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.

3

Rub the Ribs

Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

4

Grill the Ribs

Place the ribs on the cooler side of the grill, bone side down. Cover and grill for about 2 to 2.5 hours, maintaining a temperature of around 250°F (121°C).

5

Apply BBQ Sauce

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and continue grilling until the sauce is caramelized.

6

Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
