Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the cavatappi pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese and Seasoning

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the aged cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cheese sauce, and house-smoked pulled pork. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

  5. 5

    Optional: Add Breadcrumbs

If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the mixture for added crunch.

  6. 6

    Bake

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until heated through and golden on top.
