Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Macaroni

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cheese Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture is golden. Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to stir until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Mix well until the pasta is fully coated.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the macaroni and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs and chopped parsley.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious baked mac and cheese!
