Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Place them in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble it into pieces. Reserve some of the bacon fat in the skillet.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In the bowl with the Brussels sprouts, add the crumbled bacon, reserved bacon fat, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until everything is well combined.

  4. 4

    Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.

  5. 5

    Finish with Balsamic and Parmesan

Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine and serve warm.
