Dough and Filling
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy. Add eggs, salt, and gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
- 2
Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 3
Prepare the Filling
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
- 4
Roll the Dough
After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- 5
- 6
Shape the Rolls
Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice into 12-15 rolls and place them in a greased baking dish.
- 7
Second Rise
Cover the rolls with a clean towel and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
- 8
Bake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
