Preparing the Cheese Curds
- 1
Prepare the Cheese Curds
In a bowl, combine the cheese curds with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning if desired. Mix well to ensure even seasoning.

Bread the Cheese Curds
Take a cheese curd, dredge it in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and then coat it with bread crumbs. Repeat this process for all cheese curds.
Frying the Cheese Curds
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Ensure the oil is deep enough to fully submerge the cheese curds.
- 5
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully place a batch of breaded cheese curds into the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Do not overcrowd the pot.
- 6
Drain the Cheese Curds
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried cheese curds from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
