Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Sautéed Mushrooms

  1. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced fresh mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown. Stir in chopped fresh parsley and remove from heat.

Assemble the Burgers

  1. 4

    Build the Burger

Toast the Wheat Montana potato buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, a slice of onion, tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

Cook the Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Fries

Cook the frozen crinkle-cut fries according to package instructions until they are crispy and golden brown. Serve them on the side with the burgers.
