Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

Form the ground beef into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place the slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bun

While the patty is cooking, place the potato bun on the grill or in a separate skillet to toast for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted potato bun, spread 1 tbsp of BBQ sauce. Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar on top.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Layer the pickle slices, onion slice, lettuce leaf, and tomato slice on top of the patty.

  3. 7

    Add Onion Ring

Place the deep-fried onion ring on top of the toppings.

  4. 8

    Complete the Burger

Spread an additional 1 tbsp of BBQ sauce on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the burger.

Fry Preparation

  1. 9

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen crinkle cut fries according to package instructions, typically baking or frying until golden and crispy.
