Season the Steak
Take the 10 oz ribeye steak and season both sides generously with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Sear the Steak
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbs of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Once hot, add the seasoned ribeye steak to the skillet.

Add Aromatics
Add 2 minced garlic cloves and a sprig of fresh rosemary to the skillet, stirring them around the steak for added flavor.

Cook to Desired Doneness
Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip it over and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.
