Method

Sandwich Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the boneless chicken breasts, coating them evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread and Toppings

While the chicken is resting, slice the red onion and tomato. Toast the thick-cut bread on the grill for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom slice of toasted bread, place a grilled chicken breast, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese, pickles, onion, lettuce, and tomato. Top with another slice of toasted bread.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the frozen crinkle cut fries. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for the recommended time until crispy and golden brown. Season with salt to taste.
