Prepare the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 equal triangles to form the chips.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Fry the Chips
Add the tortilla triangles in batches, frying them until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Season
While still warm, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Mix the Salsa
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.

Add Lime Juice and Salt
Pour lime juice over the mixture and add salt. Stir well to combine.

Chill
Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
