Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burger

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.

Bun Preparation

  1. 4

    Grill the Bun

While the burger is cooking, slice the potato bun in half and grill it on a separate section of the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the crinkle cut fries according to the package instructions, typically baking or frying until crispy.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Cheeseburger

Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the grilled potato bun. Layer with pickles, onion, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburger with a side of crispy crinkle cut fries.
