Falafel Preparation

Soak the Chickpeas
In a bowl, cover the dried chickpeas with water and let them soak overnight.

Shape the Falafel
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add water gradually until the mixture holds together. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Falafel
Carefully drop falafel balls into the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve
Serve the falafel hot with tahini sauce on the side.
