Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Coat the chicken breasts with blackening seasoning evenly on both sides.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, add a bit of oil. Once hot, place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In the same skillet, add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove, drain on paper towels, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- 4
Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced blackened chicken, and crumbled bacon. Toss gently.
- 5
Add Croutons and Dressing
Top the salad with croutons and drizzle ranch dressing over it. Toss again lightly to combine.
- 6
Serve
Serve immediately and enjoy your Blackened Chicken BLT Salad!
