Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Alligator

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced alligator meat with Cajun seasoning. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, bell pepper, onion, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Alligator

Add the marinated alligator meat to the pot and cook for about 5-10 minutes until browned.

  4. 4

    Add Broth and Rice

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the rice, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove from heat and fluff the mixture with a fork. Stir in chopped green onions and adjust seasoning with hot sauce to taste. Serve hot.
