Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the refried beans, chopped onions, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Burritos
Lay out a flour tortilla on a clean surface. Spread 1/4 cup of the bean mixture in the center of the tortilla. Top with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese.

Roll the Burrito
Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to enclose the filling.

Heat the Burritos
In a skillet over medium heat, place the burritos seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve
Place the burritos on a serving plate and pour the red enchilada sauce over the top. Serve warm.
