Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Making the Cake Batter

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsweetened chocolate and unsalted butter together until smooth, stirring frequently.

Combine Sugar and Eggs
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until well combined and slightly frothy.

Mix in Chocolate
Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir until combined.

Add Dry Ingredients
Sift in the flour, add vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes before inverting onto plates.

Dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.
