Form the mixture into two equal patties.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, sliced tomato, and onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
