Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook Pasta
Once the water is boiling, add the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Cooking Chicken

Prepare Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Cook Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.

Once rested, slice the chicken into thin strips.
Making Alfredo Sauce

Add Cream
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.

Incorporate Cheese
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining and Serving

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained fettuccine pasta to the Alfredo sauce. Stir well to coat the pasta evenly.

Gently fold the sliced chicken into the pasta and sauce mixture.
