Method

Preparation of Espresso

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Mixing the Filling

  1. 2

    Combine Mascarpone Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine 500 grams of mascarpone cheese, 1 tablespoon of Kahlua, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Assembling the Tiramisu

  1. 3

    Dip the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso, making sure they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

In an 8x8 inch dish, create a layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by a layer of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.

Final Touch

  1. 5

    Prepare the Chocolate

Melt 50 grams of dark chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.

  2. 6

    Decorate the Tiramisu

Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the top of the tiramisu. You can also use a sifter to dust cocoa powder on top if desired.

  3. 7

    Chill

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
