Crostini Preparation

    Prepare the Baguette

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

    Toast the Crostini

    Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.

Mint Crème Fraîche Preparation

    Mix the Ingredients

    In a small bowl, combine crème fraîche, finely chopped fresh mint leaves, and lemon zest. Stir until well mixed.

    Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste, mixing well.

Assembly

    Prepare Toppings

    Thinly slice the cucumber and cut the smoked salmon into bite-sized pieces.

    Spread a generous layer of the mint crème fraîche on each toasted baguette slice. Top with a slice of cucumber, a piece of smoked salmon, and a sprinkle of fresh dill.
