Cooking the Pasta

Step 1: Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of salted water to a rolling boil.

Step 2: Cook Pasta
Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Step 3: Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Preparing the Vegetables

Step 4: Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5: Add Vegetables
Add bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Making the Sauce and Combining

Step 6: Add Broth and Seasoning
Pour in the vegetable broth, and season with salt and black pepper. Stir to combine and let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 7: Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the vegetables and sauce. Toss everything together until well mixed.

Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil. Serve warm.
