Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Prepare the Toppings

Chop the Tomatoes
While the bread is toasting, chop the tomatoes into small diced pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and finely mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Mozzarella and Seasoning
Cube the mozzarella cheese and add it to the mixing bowl. Then, drizzle in the balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and mix everything together gently.

Top the Toasted Bread
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and enjoy immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
