Prepare the Ingredients
Chop the mushrooms and jalapenos. Set aside.

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

Form the Burger Patties
In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two patties.

Cook the Burgers
In the skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Melt the Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to let the cheese melt.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each burger bun, place a burger patty, top with sautéed mushrooms, jalapenos, two slices of bacon, and a drizzle of A1 sauce. Add the top half of the bun.

Serve the steakhouse burgers hot with your favorite sides.
