1. Prepare the Beef
In a large bowl, combine the cubed lean beef with salt, black pepper, mitmita, and awaze. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated with the spices.
2. Sear the Beef
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned beef cubes to the skillet. Sear the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side for rare, or longer for medium rare, depending on your preference.
3. Add Peppers
Add the diced bell peppers to the skillet with the beef during the last minute of cooking. Stir to combine and cook until the peppers are slightly softened.
4. Serve
Remove the skillet from heat and serve the gored gored immediately. Accompany with Ethiopian cottage cheese on the side.
