Wash the green beans and trim the ends. Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds. Mince the garlic and chop the onion.

Prepare the Vegetables

Pour in the water and bring to a gentle simmer. Cover the skillet and let it cook for about 15 minutes, or until the green beans are tender but still crisp.

Simmer

Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Serve warm as a side dish.
