Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all vegetables as needed. Make sure the broccoli is cut into small florets, the bell pepper is sliced into strips, and the carrot is julienned. Slice the zucchini into half-moons and trim the sugar snap peas.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Stir Fry the Vegetables

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Once hot, add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, sugar snap peas, and zucchini. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.

  2. 4

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat all the vegetables in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serving

  1. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the stir-fry from heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles, if desired.
