Prep the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from oven and set aside.

Prepare the Tomato Mixture
Chop the fresh tomatoes into small dice and place them in a bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Add salt and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Toss everything together until well combined.

Add Mozzarella
Chop the mozzarella cheese into small cubes and fold it into the tomato mixture gently.
Assembly

Top the Toasted Bread
Spoon the tomato and mozzarella mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Serve immediately while the bread is still warm and crispy.
