Brisket Preparation

Prepare the Rub
In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

Season the Brisket
Rub the spice mixture all over the beef brisket, ensuring it's well-coated.

Cook the Brisket
Place the brisket in a slow cooker. Add beef broth and liquid smoke. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, until the brisket is tender.

Shred the Brisket
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes. Shred the meat using two forks.
