1

Prepare Lemon Juice

Juice the fresh lemons until you have 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain through a fine sieve to remove seeds and pulp.

Make Sugar Syrup

In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved completely. Allow to cool.

3

Combine and Freeze

Mix the lemon juice with the cooled sugar syrup. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions, or pour into a shallow container and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes until fully frozen.

Strawberry Basil Sorbet

4

Prepare Strawberries

Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Blend them in a food processor until smooth.

5

Infuse Basil

In a small saucepan, combine blended strawberries and sugar. Heat gently for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Add fresh basil leaves and let steep for 15 minutes.

6
