Prepare the Glass
Take a rocks glass and place the sugar cube at the bottom.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters onto the sugar cube.

Dissolve Sugar
Add 1 tsp of water to the glass and use a muddler or the back of a spoon to crush the sugar cube until it dissolves completely.

Add Ice
Fill the glass with 3 ice cubes, making sure they are large enough to prevent dilution.

Pour Bourbon
Pour 2 oz of bourbon over the ice.

Garnish
Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink and drop it into the glass as a garnish.

Stir and Serve
Gently stir the drink to combine the ingredients, and serve immediately.
