Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Hibiscus Tea

In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers, remove from heat, and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare Pineapple-Thyme Blend

In a blender, combine 1 cup of chopped pineapple and 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract the juice.

  3. 3

    Juice the Lime

Squeeze the juice from 1 lime into a small bowl, ensuring you remove any seeds.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Bacardi Rum, 1 oz of Grand Marnier, 1 oz of the pineapple-thyme juice, and 1 oz of hibiscus tea. Add ice and shake well until chilled.

  2. 5

    Serve

Fill a glass with ice, then strain the mixture from the shaker into the glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of thyme.
