Method

Prepare the Fruit

  1. 1

    Prepare Strawberries

Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Remove the stems and hulls, then slice them into halves.

  2. 2

    Prepare Mango

Peel the mango, remove the pit, and cut the flesh into small chunks.

Make the Simple Syrup

  1. 3

    Combine Sugar and Water

In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 4

    Cool the Syrup

Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and allow the simple syrup to cool to room temperature.

Blend the Sorbet

  1. 5

    Blend Ingredients

In a blender, add the prepared strawberries, mango chunks, fresh lime juice, and cooled simple syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 6

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or lime juice to your liking.

Freeze the Sorbet

  1. 7

    Transfer to Container

Pour the blended fruit mixture into a shallow container. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap.

  2. 8

    Freeze

Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Serve

  1. 9

    Scoop and Serve

Once the sorbet is frozen, use a scoop to serve it into chilled bowls. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
