Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even layer.

  3. 3

    Bake the Crust

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until well blended.

  2. 5

    Add Flavor and Eggs

Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, mix in the sour cream until smooth.

  3. 6

    Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the cream cheese filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.

  4. 7

    Bake the Filling

Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.

Topping Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Topping

Once the cheesecake has cooled, top it with sliced fresh strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sauce.

  2. 9

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving for best results. Slice and enjoy your delicious dessert!
