Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted outer leaves. Dry the lettuce using a salad spinner or pat it dry with a clean kitchen towel. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Croutons and Tomatoes

Add the croutons and halved cherry tomatoes to the bowl with the lettuce. Toss gently to combine.

  3. 3

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Grate the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad. Toss again lightly to distribute the cheese.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, mash the garlic and anchovy fillets together using a fork until they form a paste. Add the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 5

    Emulsify the Dressing

Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified and smooth.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Pour the dressing over the salad mixture in the bowl. Toss the salad gently to coat the ingredients evenly with the dressing.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Caesar salad immediately as a side dish or light main course. Enjoy!
