Prepare the Baguette
Slice the crusty baguette in half lengthwise.

Spread the Butter
Spread the whipped butter generously on both halves of the baguette.

Add the Ham
Layer the Bayonne ham evenly on one half of the baguette.

Assemble the Sandwich
Place the other half of the baguette on top, pressing down gently to hold the sandwich together.

Cut the sandwich into smaller pieces if desired and serve immediately.
