For Cooking

Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Filling

In a bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Assemble the Potstickers

  1. 2

    Fill the Wrappers

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Cook the Potstickers

  1. 3

    Pan-Fry the Dumplings

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Place the potstickers in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.

  2. 4

    Steam the Dumplings

Add water to the skillet, cover immediately, and let them steam for about 5-7 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the pork is cooked through.

  3. 5

    Serve

Remove the potstickers from the skillet and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
