Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Mix the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the lobster meat, softened cream cheese, chopped scallions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Rangoons

  1. 2

    Fill the Wrappers

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 tablespoon of the lobster filling to the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold diagonally to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry the Rangoons

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Fry the Rangoons

Carefully add the filled rangoons to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve

  1. 5

    Plate and Enjoy

Serve the lobster rangoons hot with your choice of dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
