Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cheese Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Roux

In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the all-purpose flour and cook for about 2 minutes until it turns a light golden color.

  2. 3

    Add Milk and Cream

Gradually whisk in the whole milk and heavy cream, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and begins to simmer.

  3. 4

    Incorporate Cheeses

Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir until the cheeses are fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

  4. 5

    Season the Sauce

Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine well.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 6

    Mix Pasta and Lobster

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta and the Langostino lobster meat. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and lobster, gently mixing until everything is well coated.

Bake

  1. 7

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 8

    Transfer and Bake

Transfer the lobster mac & cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Optionally, sprinkle extra cheese or breadcrumbs on top for a crispy finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Serve

  1. 9

    Prepare the Breadsticks

While the mac & cheese is baking, prepare the breadsticks according to package instructions.

  2. 10

    Serve Hot

Once baked, remove the lobster mac & cheese from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve hot alongside the breadsticks.
