Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Chop Vegetables

Dice the onion and slice the green bell pepper into strips.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Then add the sliced green bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  3. 6

    Make the Sauce

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 7

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked linguine into the skillet with the sauce and toss to coat. Slice the grilled chicken and place on top of the linguine.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Plate the blackened chicken linguine and serve with warm breadsticks on the side.
