1. Prepare the Rice
Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
2. Cook the Potatoes
Peel and slice the potatoes into fries. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
3. Sear the Steak
Season the filet mignonette with black pepper. In the same pan, add more oil if necessary and sear the steak on high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from the pan and let rest.
4. Sauté the Vegetables
In the same pan, add sliced red onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add diced tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
