Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into fry shapes. Soak them in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain and dry the potatoes, then carefully add them to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wagyu Steak

Season the Wagyu steak with salt and pepper. Grill or sear the steak over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, sauté the chopped onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Wagyu Fries

On a serving platter, layer the crispy fries, top with sliced Wagyu steak, sautéed vegetables, and shredded white American cheese. Optionally, place under a broiler for a minute to melt the cheese.
