Ingredients

Albondiga Ingredients

Preparation

Cooking Directions

1. Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

2. Shape the Meatballs

Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and set aside.

3. Cook the Meatballs

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

4. Add Sauce and Simmer

Pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.

5. Serve

Serve the albondigas warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
