Fries and Toppings

Method

Preparation and Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Wash and cut the Russet potatoes into thin fry shapes. Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain and pat dry the soaked fries, then fry them in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Toppings

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add the plant-based ground beef and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Impossible Fries

On a serving platter, layer the crispy fries, top with the sautéed plant-based beef mixture, and sprinkle with white American cheese. For a melty finish, place under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your Impossible Fries!
