Method
Preparation and Assembly
- 1
Prepare the Fries
Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the French fries. Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
- 2
Heat the Pastrami
While the fries are baking, heat the sliced pastrami in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
- 3
Assemble the Capastrami Fries
Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle with shredded Swiss cheese. Top with the warmed pastrami and then add the coleslaw mix on top.
- 4
Add the Dressing
Drizzle the Russian dressing generously over the top of the fries and toppings. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 5
Serve
Serve the Capastrami Fries hot, straight from the oven, with additional Russian dressing on the side if desired.
