Method
Prepare the Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Grill the Chicken
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Tacos
- 3
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Remove from heat and keep warm.
- 4
Fill the Tacos
Slice the grilled chicken into strips. Place a generous amount of chicken in each tortilla. Top with fresh salsa and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
- 5
Serve
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos before serving. Enjoy your delicious chicken tacos!
