Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak, making sure it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same grill pan, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, until they are tender and slightly charred.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Fajitas

Slice the grilled steak against the grain into thin strips. Serve the steak and grilled vegetables on warm tortillas. Enjoy with your favorite toppings such as salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
