Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Pickle the Red Onions

Thinly slice the red onion and place it in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix equal parts vinegar and water with a pinch of salt and sugar. Pour the mixture over the onions and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

Grill the Stone Fruits and Green Beans

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cut the nectarines and peaches in halves, remove the pits, and brush them lightly with olive oil. Toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill the stone fruits for about 4-5 minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Grill the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Honey-Bourbon Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of bourbon, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste until emulsified.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large salad bowl, combine the grilled stone fruits and green beans. Tear the burrata cheese and place it on top. Add pickled red onions, mizuna greens, and torn basil leaves. Drizzle with the honey-bourbon vinaigrette before serving.
