Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and crack the eggs into the well. Add the olive oil. Using a fork, gradually mix the flour into the eggs until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Roll Out the Dough

After resting, divide the dough into four pieces. Using a pasta machine or a rolling pin, roll each piece out into thin sheets.

  4. 4

    Cut the Pasta

Cut the rolled-out dough into your desired shape (e.g., fettuccine, tagliatelle, etc.). Dust the cut pasta with flour to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 2-4 minutes, depending on thickness, until al dente. Drain well.

  6. 6

    Serve

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat. Serve hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese.
