Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cedar Plank

Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour before grilling to prevent burning.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Make the Brown Butter Apples

In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced apples. Cook until the apples are tender and golden, about 10 minutes. Stir in chopped rosemary and remove from heat.

  2. 3

    Prepare the Brie

Place the wheel of Brie on the soaked cedar plank. Top with the brown butter apples mixture.

  3. 4

    Add Prosciutto and Hazelnuts

Layer the prosciutto over the apples and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.

  4. 5

    Roast

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the cedar plank with Brie on the grill, close the lid, and roast for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey.

  5. 6

    Prepare the Baguette

While the Brie is roasting, toast the baguette slices on the grill until golden.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Remove the cedar plank from the grill. Serve the roasted Brie with toasted baguette slices for dipping.
